Thread veins, telangiectasia, spider veins, campbell-de-morgan (blood spot) & broken capillaries are small, thin visible veins that appear close to the surface of the skin.  They often look red, blue or purple and can appear like fine lines or web like patterns.  They usually occur on the legs or face and are caused by tiny blood vessels that have widened or broken.  

They are easily treated with laser therapy or advanced cosmetic electrolysis.

Laser treatment works by directing laser light at unwanted or unsightly veins. This causes the vein to breakdown, before gradually being reabsorbed by the body. Smaller veins can take up to 2 weeks to fade, with larger leg veins taking up to 2-3 months, during which time they may require additional treatments. 

Advanced Cosmetic Electrolysis using Sterex equipment can be used to treat broken capillaries and skin tag removal.  

Thread veins and spider veins are treated using a fine sterile probe, a controlled electric current or heat is applied to coagulate the vessel, causing it to collapse, cauterise and fade.

Advanced Cosmetic Electrolysis can also be used to remove skin tags.

This is an aesthetic treatment that uses a fine sterile probe to heat the base or stalk of the skin tag, destroying the tissue and cutting off the blood supply.  Small scabbing or a dry crust may form and the treated tag usually falls off within a few days.  Usually one session is sufficient  for small skin tags.  For larger or multiple tags, or ones in tricky areas, more sessions may be required.
